The Chicago Blackhawks have been on a downward spiral since the start of 2018 as they’ve managed to win just six of their last 20 games and still haven’t won during the month of February.
The Blackhawks returned home from a three-game road trip on Thursday night and hosted their Valentine’s Day theme night one day late. During a TV timeout the Blackhawks mascot, Tommy Hawk, delivered a special Valentine’s Day gift to a fan in the stands and it did not turn out to be what she expected it to be.
The Blackhawks fan in the stands thought she was going home with a giant teddy bear, but instead she ended up experiencing her own real life version of the movie ‘Ted’.
As for the Blackhawks, they ended up dropping their eighth straight game and now own a 24-26-8 record through 58 games.
