NHL teams are getting in the holiday spirit and having their holiday parties and family skates.
For family skates in the NHL, it’s one of the few times you’ll see the players on the ice without any equipment, but not everybody shed their gear for the Blackhawks’ version. In fact, one person added some equipment: Cooper Crawford. Corey and his girlfriend Kristy had their first child in September 2017, and after only a couple months he’s already started working in the family business.
It looks like the Blackhawks saw this coming from Day 1. Literally, Day 1 they were already calling Cooper a goaltender. It’s too bad hockey is not like soccer – they could get this guy in a junior program and sign him right away.
