It came in dramatic fashion, but the Jets have finally won their first playoff game since returning to the city in 2011.

Winnipeg led for most of the game but found themselves down 2-1 after back-to-back goals by Minnesota forwards Matt Cullen and Zach Parise in the third period. But after Laine evened things up, newly acquired defenceman Joe Morrow pulled hero with a shot from the point. The rest was history from there on.

It’s no secret that Wild bench boss Bruce Boudreau is one of the league more animated coaches and tonight he lived up to his reputation after the Jets regained the lead. The 63-year-old was briefly shown on the bench yelling an expletive word that all coaches have likely used after going down late.

Boudreau has never been one to hold back throughout his coaching career. From animated speeches in the dressing room to outbursts on the bench, Boudreau has given hockey fans some golden moments. Like the time he went toe-to-toe with Patrick Roy in an all-out yelling war when he was still making the calls in Anaheim.

Given how close Game 1 was, Boudreau is likely going to have some more hilarious moments throughout the series. He’s definitely a personality to watch as it progresses.
