If you stayed up to watch the Mariners game Wednesday night, you witnessed an outing for the ages from Canadian James Paxton against the Athletics.

The 29-year-old BC native struck out 16 batters, a career high for him and the most in the MLB this season in a game, and set the record for strikeouts in a game by a Canadian.

Like we said, an outing for the ages and everyone that watched it happened marvelled at Paxton's performance.
