Alphonso Davies has a lot of Canadian soccer fans excited as he continues to develop into a star player. The 17-year-old spent the year as a member of the Vancouver Whitecaps, but his promising development has earned him a look overseas as he will be joining Bayern Munich next year.

The star Canadian played in his final MLS game on Sunday, wowing fans with an incredible individual effort before striking a rocket past the keeper.

The Whitecaps would go on to win 2-1 over Portland, both goals coming off the foot of Davies. At the 85th minute, Whitecaps fans were greeted with the moment they were all waiting for – Davis’ final sendoff. It was emotional to say the least.

Good luck overseas, Phonzy! We’ll miss you in Canada.
