Just when we thought the Capitals got the monkey off their back, when we thought they would stop taking Ls after winning their first Stanley Cup, the team’s owner started the season with a brutal high-five attempt.

Ted Leonsis has shown his excitement for the Capitals win several times and there are probably few sweeter moments than the one he had while the Championship banner raised up to the rafters in Washington. You can see just how excited he was by this bullish high-five attempt followed by a clear lack of remorse and no attempt to reconcile.

Worst high-five attempt of all time? 😂😂

Apparently the Stanley Cup hangover applies to owners too.
