Sports-themed gender reveals are always fun to watch, but they also can go horribly wrong in the blink of an eye.
Most of the fails we've seen when it comes to sports-themed gender reveals, though, involve a baseball bat. There's so much that can go wrong, whether it be swinging and missing or a bad pitch hits the ground and explodes.
What we saw from this couple, however, trumps all of those fails in the most hilarious way possible.
Where do we even begin with this? With a catcher behind him, you can't blame the batter for taking the high pitch instead of swinging at it and living to see another pitch.
Unfortunately this catcher was not even close to prepared to catch the ball so they could try it all over again. The catcher didn't even have a glove, but a glove wouldn't have helped because that person's eyes were not on the ball.
It may be the ultimate gender reveal fail, but that couple is going to be having a boy and we couldn't be happier for them! (H/T: Bleacher Report)
