There was a point in UFC 262’s main event where Charles Oliveira looked like he wasn’t going to make it out of the 1st round, but whatever was said and done during the break in between the first two rounds certainly worked.

Oliveira came out firing in the 2nd round and only needed 19 seconds in to finish the fight, as he became the new UFC lightweight champion with a TKO victory over Michael Chandler.

The entire fight was absolutely wild from beginning to end, even though it wasn’t the longest fight, and Oliveira topped it all off with a wild celebration.

After greeting the broadcast crew Oliveira headed for the crowd and kept the post-victory celebration going while the adrenaline was still rushing through his body.

Oliveira a.k.a. β€œdo Bronx” improves to 31-8 with his latest victory and is now riding a nine-fight winning streak and has won 10 of his last 11 bouts.
