It’s Cole Caufield’s world, and we’re all just living in it.

Caufield is one of the most highly-tauted prospects in hockey, and fresh off an impressive college season with Wisconsin where he put up 52 points in a mere 30 games, he put pen to paper with the Montreal Canadiens with his ELC.

But wait, there’s more.

In a year that seems to totally belong to the reigning World Juniors Champion, Cole Caufield is making his AHL debut tonight with the Laval Rocket, and Twitter was ablaze when the news broke.

Before the puck even dropped, though, Caufield was honoured with the biggest nod in College Hockey; the Hobey Baker award.

Pretty good Friday for Cole, huh?

Congrats to the Wisconsin product, who becomes the first-ever Habs prospect to win the award. We can’t wait to see what else he’s got!
