Eduards Tralmaks is currently playing in his freshman season for the University of Maine Black Bears and he’s off to a pretty good start so far.

On Friday night, the Black Bears paid a visit to the Quinnipiac Bobcats and ended up putting together a very late comeback to walk away with the victory.

Trailing 4-3 nearing the midway mark of the third period, the Black Bears shifted the momentum in their favour thanks in part to a ridiculous goal by Tralmaks.

The 20-year-old Latvian forward added his second goal of the game just under six minutes later to help his team secure a 7-4 victory, but it wasn’t worth of the highlight reel like his first goal of the night.

The two-goal night gives Tralmaks seven goals and 12 points in his first 14 Division 1 collegiate hockey games. Last year, he spent the season with the Chicago Steel of the USHL, where he finished with 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points in 46 games.
