When you’re watching a Toronto Raptors game and Drake is posted up courtside, you know it’s going to be an entertaining game. Drake is constantly up to something while he’s in his familiar spot next to the Raptors bench, whether it’s trash-talking the other team, massaging Nick Nurse, or dancing in celebration of a big Raps’ dunk.
On Tuesday, we saw something we haven’t seen before. Drake brought special customized “Frederico” hats as gifts for Matt Devlin and Jack Armstrong on Fred VanVleet’s birthday.
Drake went viral when he joined the Raptors broadcast against the Phoenix Suns when he enthusiastically referred to Fred as “Frederico”. Since then, you can see the name following VanVleet just about everywhere he goes.
