Drake is notorious for bandwagon hoping in the sports world, but last night we got a peek at why that might be the case.
Any sports fan knows that people who have no rooting interest in a game can make things a little more interesting with a friendly wager. If it’s a matter of winning and losing, there’s no doubt that you’re going to waving a random team’s flag harder than ever.
That was Drake last night after making what was clearly a massive bet with Atlanta rapper Quavo from Migos.
Quavo was on the Georgia sideline for the game, but Drake was watching the game with another Atlanta- rapper, 2 Chainz. After the shocking overtime win, Drake was going nuts, waving around fat stacks of cash from his winnings, claiming that this wasn’t even a quarter of the total amount.
That was all from Drake’s Instagram story, but 2 Chainz gave us some more behind-the-scenes looks at their watch party, where Drake actually ended up calling Quavo and dropping one of his own lines to chirp him. The whole party loves it when he tells him it’s going to be “dat way”.
