The Legion of Boom is all but over.

After Richard Sherman was released and signed by the 49ers, Michael Bennett traded to the Eagles, and Cliff Avril and Kam Chancellor both retiring, Earl Thomas is now the only original member left.

For how long he lasts in Seattle is anyone’s guess, but if he had it his way, his time could soon be coming to an end, based on an Instagram that appears to be directed at the Seahawks’ front office.

“Always been the underdog ain’t nothing new . Extend .....if you don’t want me let’s make a trade happen I understand it’s a bizz.”

Thomas, a safety is about to begin the final year of his current deal and is obviously seeking an extension. Last week, he tweeted out a message to Seahawks fans that he wants to stay in Seattle long-term after informing the team they he'd be skipping OTAs.

The 29-year-old will earn $10 million this season after signing a four-year, $40 million extension with the club back in 2014.

The internet has speculated that Thomas might want to return to his hometown state of Texas to play for America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys, after a number of cryptic comments issued by Thomas on Instagram.
