Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Evgeni Malkin is the leading scorer in the Stanley Cup playoffs, but failed to register a single shot attempt in his teams 5-1 loss to the Nashville Predators in Game 3. It didn't help matters that captain Sidney Crosby also failed to register a shot on goal.

When it seems impossible to get a shot on net, things can quickly get frustrating, and Malkin is a player who tends to have a short temper on the ice.

When exiting the ice to the dressing room on Saturday, one of the Preds rally towels appears to be tossed at Malkin. The centre turns to the fans, raises his stick, and acts as if he's going to swing it before putting it down and heading to the locker room.

The #Nashville fans really seemed to get to Evgeni #Malkin tonight #NHLDiscussion

While fans shouldn't be getting anywhere near players, Predators faithful were clearly getting into the heads of the Penguins on Saturday night.

Home-ice advantage was on full display in Nashville, Tennessee during Game 3.

Loudest #hockey arena that I've ever been in. I got the chills #Nashville #Predators #StanleyCup
