When tempers flare and boil over in hockey, you can expect all the bad blood to stay out on the ice, as it rarely simmers over off the ice surface.

But in club game between the Texas Tech and SMU (Southern Methodist University) on Saturday night, that's exactly what happened after two players dropped the mitts and were escorted off the ice.

As seen in the video, the fight takes place with No. 16 on SMU and No. 57 on Texas Tech.

After the camera pans across to both benches, you can see an SMU player (No. 22) skate over to the door right before the ejected SMU player is being ushered off the ice.

The camera then shows No. 22 is a full-on fight with the ejected Texas Tech player before a group of players and the refs jump in to separate the two.

While there's no official word on supplementary discipline, you can expect a lengthy suspension come to all parties involved.
