Saturday night, CM Punk made his return to the octagon at UFC 225 and he was doing it in his hometown of Chicago.
Punk's first fight back in 2016 didn't go how he wanted it to as he lost in the first round by submission to Mickey Gall.
In his second fight, though, Punk looked much better and even though he lost, he went the distance against Mike Jackson and impressed a lot of people with his heart and his fight.
CM Punk looks like a guy who started training MMA in his 30s and is in his second pro fight. He may even be exceeding expectations, given the context. It was never gonna look any better than this. If anything, I'm probably impressed by him. And this has to be his last UFC fight.
