At the NHL all-star break, the Calgary Flames sit third in the Pacific Division with the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks breathing down their neck.

Mike Smith and his .926 save percentage are a big reason why many consider Calgary to be a contender come playoff time. Along with one of the top defensive cores in the league, the Flames can thank their young trio of Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan and Matthew Tkachuk leading the way on the scoresheet.

The Flames announced on Friday that on February 3rd, the Flames will throw a special Flames Retro night when they take on the Chicago Blackhawks.

The three youngsters went all out for a special promotional video that feature an ode to the past well before any of them were even born.

In the video, a confused Tkachuk doesn’t quite understand what his two teammates are doing as they burn rubber around Cowtown.

Waiting for them in a parking lot located at the Saddledome, Tkachuk is dressed in a full suit as if he’s ready to get picked up for a game.

Monahan informs him “It’s Retro Night” before tossing the keys to the older brother of Brady.

The full video can be found here.

The only way this video couldv'e been any better is if the Flames got Jaromir Jagr to star in the promo, but it's still pretty good!
