Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable!

Everyone knew the day would come when the Cleveland Browns would finally snap out of their losing streak and get back in the win column. But did anyone see Baker Mayfield getting the job done after entering the game late in the first half in primetime? Probably not many.

After quarterback Tyrod Taylor was forced to leave the game with a concussion, all eyes were squarely on Mayfield as he entered the spotlight. And let us tell you, he didn’t disappoint either. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner was slinging the rock all night, leading the Browns down the field on numerous drives and ultimately allowing running back Carlos Hyde to do damage with two touchdowns on the evening. Cleveland snapped one of the longest losing streaks in sports with the win, and football fans all over lost their minds on Twitter afterward, especially after realizing that Bud Light promised them copious amounts of beer if they could make it happen!

Even the cops are getting in on the fun...

You can’t make this stuff up!

What makes the win all the more sweet for Cleveland is that it came against Sam Darnold’s New York Jets. The Browns, of course, had the opportunity to draft Darnold with the first overall pick but selected the dynamic Mayfield instead. Tonight really couldn’t have gone much better in Cleveland.

With the win, the Browns improve to 1-1-1 and remain in the thick of things in the AFC North. The question now becomes whether or not the Browns will stick with their youngster or roll with Taylor.
