If there’s anything Joe Thomas proved on Sunday evening, it’s that the rivalry between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers is alive and well.
Even after you retire!
Following the Steelers’ pretty ugly loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round, the former 11-year left tackle took to Twitter to air out some dirty laundry on the Steelers.
DANG, okay Joe! Those are some fighting words! And as delightful as it must have been to see the Steelers get knocked out of the playoffs, many Steelers fans hit Joe with some comebacks of their own, including former Steelers defensive end, Brett Keisel.
YIKES, we take it back, now THOSE are some fighting words!
The big picture at the end of the day is that with Ben Roethlisberger set to retire following this season, the AFC North is bound to look a whole lot different, especially with the Cincinnati Bengals moving onto the divisional round, while the Browns, Steelers and Baltimore Ravens handle various roster issues.
And we think Joe Thomas just fired up that rivalry for the 2022 season.
