In just two seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos, Duke Williams proved to be a force, reeling in career totals of 15 touchdowns and 2,294 yards en route to All-Star honours in 2018. The Eskimos released Williams from his contract in the offseason to pursue opportunities in the NFL.

After a successful preseason with two touchdowns for the Buffalo Bills, Williams was promoted from the team’s practice squad for their Week 5 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, and he went to work right away. How about a touchdown in his very first NFL game?

Through three and a half quarters of the game, Williams has caught all four of his targets for a total 29 yards so far, including his lone touchdown.

Way to do the Eskies proud! Already, some of his former teammates have posted their support on Twitter. You love to see a CFLer thrive.
