With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers down 24-13 to the Atlanta Falcons heading into halftime, the Bucs were hoping for a little bit of that magic from earlier in the year. Of course, they didn’t have Ryan Fitzpatrick on the field, but Jameis Winston certainly isn’t shy about trying to make things happen.

And oh, how close it was.

The second half ended in a crazy, last ditch effort from Winston and the Bucs offence. The play is what would be referred to as “schoolyard” football, based on how frantic and improvised it seems to be as it unfolds.

If this had worked...😱 #TBvsATL

Just as they drew it up, right?

If DeSean Jackson had been able to catch it cleanly, there was definitely a chance the speedster could have squeezed his way into the end zone, although the Falcons defence did swarm him fairly quickly.

Oh what could have been.
