It wasn’t too long ago that Nick Foles went down with a devastating injury after signing a huge contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Little did we know at the time, but that was going to be the birth of a man who has since become a legend in the NFL.
Gardner freakin’ Minshew.
While Minshew’s early career magic hasn’t really sustained the way Jacksonville had hoped, it’s impossible to say the man hasn’t been entertaining. From his haircuts and facial hair to his other-worldly commentary on life in general, there’s no one quite like Minshew.
Now locked into a quarterback battle (supposedly) with Jags’ 1st overall pick Trevor Lawrence, Minshew is proving to everyone that he’s very serious about the competition. It certainly seems like #2 on the depth chart isn’t an option for him, and he announced so in the most Gardner Minshew way possible.

After all, we’re about as sold that there’s actually a “quarterback competition” as we are that Minshew actually hasn’t done his business in weeks.
