Dogs and playoff hockey. Can you name anything… ANYTHING… better than those two blessings in life. Now put them together. Oh baby, now we’re talking.

The New York Islanders introduced a new pup to their fan base back in September, who through a fan vote was named Radar as a tribute to Al Arbour.

Now a full on member of the “Islanders Family”, Radar seems to have really taken to the sport he was essentially born into. Being trained as a guide dog as part of the Guide Dog Foundation, Radar was seen hopped up on the glass watching as Isles defenceman Scott Mayfield.

It’s not the first time this has happened either, the “Pup with a Purpose” has hopped up to watch his favourite team before as well!

Keep up the good work, Radar.
