Janarion Grant joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers less than a month ago and he made quite the first impression on Bombers fans in his CFL debut.

The 25-year-old made his first appearance in a game as a member of the Blue Bombers on Thursday night against the Calgary Stampeders and it didn’t take him very long to win over the hearts of the Bombers faithful.

Grant managed to make a name for himself pretty quickly as he broke a few tackles and returned the ball 76 yards to the house for the first touchdown of the night in the opening quarter and he wasn’t done there.

With less than two minutes to go before halftime, Grant worked his magic again, this time taking the ball 86 yards for his second touchdown of the night and of his career.

CFL teams have already set a new record for the most kick return touchdowns in a single season, and it’s the second straight week we’ve seen a player return two touchdowns in the same game as Ottawa Redblacks’ DeVonte Dedmon did it last week
