The most illustrious player in the history of Czech hockey has a simple message for his countrymen.

"Only gold."

47-year-old legend Jaromir Jagr left a note with that message written on a photo of himself from the 2015 tournament displayed inside the Czech dressing room accompanied by his signature after meeting with the team on Saturday.

The all-time leader in points by a Czech-born player was on hand for the team's game on Saturday against Norway and got a standing ovation by the Czech-heavy crowd.

After a 7-2 victory, Jagr was brought on-ice to present the player of the game award to Flames forward Michael Frolik.

Speaking with Czech publication Akutalne, the NHL's second all-time scoring leader joked that he's ready to suit up if his team needs him.

Via Google Translate:

"I'm just crossing the border. I have my bag and sticks with me, I have a phone on Říha too, but it doesn't pick me up yet. I guess it doesn't have me saved."

Jagr most recently scored four goals to propell the club he owns, HC Kladno, to the top division in the Czech Extra League.
