Jets Adam Lowry shared a heartwarming message after his dad was hired as an assistant coach

It's rare for a father to coach his son in the NHL, but Monday we saw this rare moment come to fruition in Winnipeg.

Adam Lowry and his dad Dave are both part of the Jets organization and Lowry reacted to the news with a heartwarming message on Instagram.

There's nothing like being able to live out your NHL dream while watching your dad live out his NHL dream behind the bench. We couldn't be happier for the Lowry family and the rest of the hockey world feels the same way!
