John Tortorella is a walking soundbite and now that training camps have started for the teams that will be playing in Edmonton and Toronto once play resumes, Torts is back answering questions...from a distance of course.
Torts and his players conducted interviews in a social distance fashion on the first day of their mini training camp and apparently the head coach has a "5 second rule" that has nothing to do with food.
We wouldn't expect anything less from Torts. Remember, he answered a reporter's phone during a presser so this is right on par with who he is.
Other Blue Jackets players had some great soundbites, too, including Nick Foligno who left his family with this parting message before returning his team.
In order to deliver, Foligno and the Jackets will need to get past the Leafs first in the play-in round.
