Hey, let’s throw it back to the 2014 Cleveland Browns, when a rookie Johnny Manziel two years removed from the Heisman Trophy was expected to form a dynamic young tandem with Pro Bowl receiver Josh Gordon.

Unfortunately, things weren’t able to pan out for those two. Both players ran into significant issues off the field. Manziel bounced through other football leagues, such as the CFL and AAF, while Gordon landed with other NFL teams over the years but was suspended multiple times for substance abuse violations.

It’s surreal to see these two reunite... as teammates for the Fan Controlled Football league’s Zappers.

With that said, the reunion didn’t last long as they were routed by the Wild Aces in a 32-6 playoff game.

This probably isn’t the best effort to recover a loose ball that we’ve seen from Manziel.
