We love the rare, weird, and fun moments in the NHL that might not get enough attention because they aren't goals, assists, big hits, or crazy saves.

Sunday, one of those moments presented itself to us in the Minnesota and Nashville game and it involved one of the newest members of the Wild, Kevin Fiala.  During the game,  Anthony Bitetto lost his stick and Fiala gave him a helping hand in the perfect way.

As awesome as that play was, it's actually illegal and the Wild should have been penalized for it, as per the official NHL rule book.

A penalty wasn't called, though, and we can enjoy the play for what it was without any of the uproar had a penalty been called.
