The break-up with the Toronto Raptors was a tough pill to swallow for Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, but the former Raptors guard is still keeping tabs on his former club.

Like DeRozan and Raptors fans, Lowry was shocked that the team traded him for Kawhi Leonard, but considering where the team is now, you can beat Lowry has likely gotten over his best friend leaving the organization.

Speaking with Rachel Nichols and former Rap Tracy McGrady on ESPN's The Jump, Lowry shed light on his relationship with DeRozan and said that he deserves a ton of credit for helping advance the franchise to where they are now.

How much credit should @demar_derozan get for helping put the Raps on the map?

Despite Lowry's reaction to the trade where he refused to speak with the brass inside the organization, Lowry commented on his relationship with Masai and how he just wants to win a championship, regardless of all the drama.

"I felt betrayed because he felt betrayed because that's my guy, that's my best friend," Lowry told ESPN. "So yeah, I felt some type of way on the personal side. It's a harsh business - it's a great business - but sometimes moves are made that you're like, 'Wow, that sucks.' It's very complicated."

“I felt like I wasn't treated with what I sacrificed for nine years," DeRozan told ESPN. "The respect that I thought deserved. Giving me the say so of letting me know something is going on. That's there a chance. That's all I wanted."
