The NFL could have another Le’Veon Bell situation on their hands if America’s team doesn’t pay their running back soon.

On Tuesday, reports surfaced claiming Ezekiel Elliot will not play in the 2019 season without a new contract. Well, if there’s one dude who can relate it’s Bell, who refused to play a snap in the 2018 season after not receiving a new deal. He made sure to let everyone know exactly where he stands on the situation by issuing a tweet in support of Elliot.

The Cowboys have proven to be a far better team with Zeke in the lineup. The club made the playoffs in both 2016 and 2018 when the 24-year-old played at least 15 games and rushed for 1,400+ yards but missed out in 2017 after Elliot was forced to miss the first six games with a suspension.

Cowboys season by season with Elliot:

2016: 13 – 3, NFC East title

2017: 9-7, missed playoffs

2018: 10-6, NFC East title

Meanwhile, the Steelers missed the postseason for the first time since 2013 without Bell in the lineup and allowed him to walk to the New York Jets with a four-year, maximum $61 million deal including $35 million guaranteed. The man finally got paid!

Le’Veon #Bell is expected to join the New York #Jets 👀 . Thoughts?

The Cowboys find themselves in some interesting territory with quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver Amari Cooper set to become free agents in 2020. Jerry Jones has some decisions to make, but there’s no doubt that Zeke appreciates the endorsement. He's set to become a free agent in 2021.
