LeBron James will always be in the 'greatest of all-time' conversation and when his career is over (he's only 33), he could very well be unanimously viewed as the greatest basketball player of all-time.

Tuesday night, James took one more step towards GOAT status as he recored his 8,000th career assist.

LeBron became the 11th player in NBA history to reach the assist mark, but he became the first player every to reach 30,000 points, 8,000 rebounds and 8,000 assists for his career.

Nobody in the history of the game has reached those marks in those categories except for LeBron and once the basketball world discovered that was the case, they praised James for the historic accomplishment.
