"We The North" is not just a slogan.  It's three words that define what being a Raptors fan is all about.  Ever since Toronto was granted an NBA team, fans have had to deal with the talk that their city is not a destination for big name free agents.

Yet, the support for the Raptors has been unwavering and after 24 long years, the Northern Uprising has finally taken centre stage in the NBA Finals against a team that seems to be universally hated in the Golden State Warriors.

The Raptors are playing the role of underdog in the Finals, but it's a loveable underdog role according to this map from BetOnline.

All but three states are rooting for the Raptors to beat the Warriors in the Finals and this map is based on geotagged data that examines how often fan hashtags for both Toronto and Golden State are used in each state.

For the Finals, it might be more appropriate to go from "We The North" to "We The North America."
