Marc Gasol shared his thoughts on Kawhi Leonard's decision to leave Toronto and go home

Time heals all wounds and hopefully Raptors fans are feeling a little better just over a month removed from Kawhi Leonard leaving Toronto for the comforts of home in Los Angeles, specifically the Clippers.

It wasn't an easy decision and after everything that happened to the Raptors this past season like, you know, winning the NBA title for the first time in franchise history, Kawhi leaving hurt that much more.

At the end of the day, home is where the heart is and if nothing else, fans and Leonard's former teammates understand this key factor in the decision he made to leave.

Getting paid millions to play the game you love in your hometown is a dream most stars don't get the opportunity to realize, so if that chance comes, you just have to take it.

There will be hard feelings from some, but the reaction from players and most fans has been wishing Kawhi well with his new team and getting excited to welcome him back in December.
