"Straight cash homie!"

Brad Marchand seems to have pulled a page out of the book of Randy Moss in the 'response to fines' department.

Friday, Marchand received a $2000 fine for diving/embellishment after appearing to flip himself off of his own feet when Olli Maatta's stick went close to his feet during the Bruins game versus the Penguins. When Marchand was asked about the fine, he called it "a joke" and said that the $2000 was a small amount of money.

Now, $2000 is not a small amount of money...but you can understand how a guy who's making $6.1 million this year and has made millions of dollars throughout his career might not view that as a big fine.

According to the NHL, Marchand was issued a warning after an incident during a game with the Lightning earlier in the season, meaning this was his second citation, earning him the $2000 fine. If Marchand is issued a third citation, the fine goes up to $3000. STRAIGHT CASH HOMIE.
