Brad Marchand was not in a very chatty mood following the Boston Bruins Game 6 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets, or at least not to the media. The Bruins star winger was filmed answering questions with decidedly short responses, hardly offering more than one word for each one.
Some people thought it was funny, others thought it was immature and annoying. It was certainly the story when Marchand took the stand for his first presser since the win on Wednesday.
He, once again, wasn’t in the mood to chat about the subject. He was fine to talk about other things, as long as they had nothing to do with Round 2. The first few questions were, and he had one response for them.
He may have been doing his best to imitate a legend around Boston in Bill Belichick, who famously answered “We’re on to Cincinnati” about one thousand times in a row whenever anyone tried to ask him about the game the New England Patriots had just played.
So is it a Boston thing, orrr….?
