Twitter followers of Marcus Stroman know very well that the five-foot-eight-inch starting pitcher is good friends with rapper, Mike Stud. Stud, whose real name is Michael Seander, was the closer at Duke University when Stroman joined the team as a freshman in 2009, and showed Marcus the ropes when he first arrived on campus.

Seander had an impressive baseball career leading up to college, being named Rhode Island’s Gatorade Player of the Year in 2006, but had his dreams of playing pro ball derailed by arm injuries later in his college career. Thankfully for him, he can rap.

In 2016, Stroman made his rapping debut on Stud's single "These Days," and later joined him on another single, "Shine." Well, Stroman is back for another one, being featured on Stud's "Take it How You Wanna."

After releasing new music, the pitcher went back to putting in hard work in the gym. After all, spring training is about a week away!
