Marian Gaborik has always been a well-rounded NHL player, but his career numbers took that to a new level.
Gaborik scored his 400th goal yesterday against the team he entered the league with, the Minnesota Wild. Scoring that goal put his numbers in a bizarre place that makes them satisfying to see. If you’ve ever tried to pump gas to an exact dollar, only put tv volume to even numbers or any of those other inexplicable tendencies in life, you’ll understand.

We’re sure Gaborik isn’t too concerned with how well-rounded his career numbers are, but one thing was definitely extra satisfying for him last night. To score those goals against the team he started on felt extra special for him.
