Saturday night, Mitch Marner did something he hasn't done all year, score a goal. The last time Marner found the back of the net before Toronto's latest game against Ottawa was December 28th against Arizona.
Marner's goal was massive for the Leafs as it helped them snap a four-game losing streak and after the game Marner did what most players do, he spoke to the media.
There was something everyone interviewing Marner noticed, though, and it was the shirt he was wearing.
Marner went into detail about the shirt during his post-game interview.
Marner met the young fan in Ottawa at the hotel on Friday and had the chance to speak to him for a couple of minutes which we're sure made that fan's day.
