The Maple Leafs may have lost to the Avalanche on Monday night, but at the very least, fans were provided with a memorable moment.

During the second period with the game tied 1-1, Auston Matthews scored what looked to be the go-ahead goal, but it was called off shortly after due to a goaltender interference call. Judging by Matthews' reaction, he was none too pleased.

Matthews was quick to rectify the situation, though, bolting down the ice just two minutes later and scoring an absolute no doubter. The goal was good, but the celebration was GREAT. Giving the classic "goal sign" to let everyone know that this one was going to count.

The celebration also led to an incredible photo of Matthews and the official both signalling the goal simultaneously.
