The World Juniors in Vancouver didn't go as planned for Team Canada to say the least.  The Canadians were eliminated by Finland in the quarters and failed to medal on home soil in the tournament for the first time ever.

Every player and coach left the tournament disappointed in the outcome, and unfortunately for captain Maxime Comtois, anger from fans was unfairly directed at him in the form of cyberbullying on social media.

On Wednesday, Comtois spoke out against cyberbullying and thanked Canada for its support throughout the tournament.

Each and every player left it all out on the ice for Canada and in Comtois' case, he literally left it all on the ice.

The beauty of sports and life, though, is that experience is the best teacher and every player will surely learn and grow from what happened in Vancouver.
