Mike Babcock has always had a sense of humour about the game of hockey and its unique qualities. He proved that again yesterday as the Leafs went on their annual trip to visit Sick Kids hospital.

Babcock was asked about some of the cookies he helped make for the team’s visit and he gets totally serious.

He talks about getting dialed in for making the cookies, executing properly and of course the crucial preparation of ingredients beforehand. He absolutely nails the stereotypical hockey interview.

Babcock has always been a pro with the media, and he’s always get some clichés to throw their way when the reporters start to pry for a little too much information. Clearly he feels the same way about his recipes, you can’t give away too much information and making a good cookie, otherwise everyone would do it.

There were some other great moments from the Leafs’ visit to Sick Kids, including Matt Martin’s struggles in NHL 18.
