The moments are what separate the World Juniors from other sporting events and they make the tournament a must-watch each and every single year.

Wednesday, the tournament opened in Vancouver and Canada was in action against Denmark.  The game wasn't close from the start and it ended up being a 14-0 victory for the Canadians.

Two players recorded three or more goals in the game and one of the hat tricks made for a heartwarming moment as Morgan Frost's mom threw her hat on the ice after her son finished off a beautiful passing play.

For the parents at the tournament, sharing these moments with their sons is just as special as a player like Frost recording a hat trick.  Win or lose, family is truly what it's all about at the end of the day.

Canada just so happened to win, too, in its opening game of the tournament and they'll go for a 2-0 start on Thursday when they take on Switzerland.
