This weekend, Nate Diaz will make his UFC return to take on Anthony Pettis in Anaheim after nearly three years away from the ring.
Already, though, heβs wasting no time making statements. At an open workout with fans on Wednesday, he lit up a joint to the delight of those in the crowd, and it was certainly something unusual in the UFC.
Along with his brother, fellow UFC star Nick Diaz, Nate owns a CBD company. He told reporters after the workout that the joint was also CBD, which is legal in both the state of California as well as in the UFC β in fact, the UFC has a sponsorship deal with Canadian cannabis company Aurora Cannabis towards CBD research.
Any way you cut it though, itβs prety wild of Diaz to spark up during an open workout. So, just classic Nate Diaz.
