The Philadelphia Eagles have finally won a Super Bowl, much to the displeasure of football fans in New York.

While the general consensus was that most neutral observers were pleased with the outcome of Super Bowl 52 due to the Patriots role as the villain in the narrative, fans of the New York Giants probably weren't all that happy to see the Eagles soar on Sunday. After all, while Giants fans in New York detest their Bostonian rivals, they're not too fond of their NFC counterparts either.

Monday, following the Eagles improbable win, the New York post came up with a clever way to both lambaste the inept Giants and kind of, sort of, not really report on Philadelphia's triumph.

Yes, it's true. Despite not actually playing in the big game, the Giants did perform well at the Super Bowl on Sunday during the commercial break, with Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. starring in a hilarious parody of Dirty Dancing.

It was a winning combination. That's how you can be both petty and still maintain that you fulfilled your responsibility to cover the news.
