For a couple years now, Brent Burns has walked around looking like if you had to put a face to the words ‘cattle country.’ So, we’re happy to inform you, via a mini-documentary produced by the San Jose Sharks, that this summer, Burns has finally gone out to fulfill his destiny, probably, by purchasing a ranch.

It’s a wholesome dive into Burns’ offseason life and one of the most recognizable players in the NHL looks quaint, even, as you can see that he’s finding a sense of personal fulfillment from owning a ranch.

So come for that, and stay for Burns yelling, “The legs feed the wolf!” as he lifts weights.

This is just part one of a three-part documentary, which means that even more of this brilliant Brent Burns content is on the way. This one covers the origins of Burns’ decision to buy the ranch, which starts with a longtime desire to run a zoo and culminates after a Texas ranch appears on the market.

All in all, it looks like the offseason has been kind to Burns, and we suspect that fans will be happy to see one of their favorites find some joy through yet another eccentric venture. He is, after all, a man of many talents and titles.
