Normally Green Bay Packers fans have a very quiet off-season. The stories are generally about how inactive the team is during free agency. Well, it seems like Packers fans would rather go back to those stories of inactivity because this offseason is one of nightmares for the fan base.

It started with news about Aaron Rodgers potentially wanting out of Green Bay. There were thoughts that he might get traded on Draft night, and since then news hasn’t gotten any better. We’re just a few days before training camp starts and there’s still no word on whether Rodgers will show up or not.

The Rodgers drama has been an on-going saga, but now it’s reported that Green Bay is having extension disputes with another star player. According to Ian Rapoport, the Packers and Davante Adams have broken off long-term extension talks.

Adams is under contract for one more season, but after that the Packers offense could look entirely different. It’s hard to even picture the Packers without the Rodgers and Adams connection.

Earlier this offseason, there were reports about a possible reunion between Derek Carr and Davante Adams in Vegas. Now in light of this news, Keenan Allen also reached out to Adams.

Hang in there Packers fans, the bad news has to stop eventually, right?
