We're less than a week away from William Nylander's deadline to either sign a deal with the Leafs (or another team if he's traded), or spend the year outside of the NHL.

Rumours ran rampant last Friday, but we've still got nothing on the Nylander front and with each passing hour, fans are getting more and more anxious.  On Monday, the Leafs host the Bruins and a member of the opposing team just so happens to be good friends with Nylander.

David Pastrnak and Nylander are close, but with the Leafs' forward still holding out, he won't be able to face his friend when the two teams square off in Toronto.

While Pastrnak didn't offer up anything in terms of what might be going in the Nylander camp, he did answer a question about if he regrets signing for the price he did with the Bruins and his answer has Leafs fans wishing Nylander think the same way:

Every situation is certainly unique and different, but Pastrnak's mindset on his deal is one Leafs fans have wanted Nylander to have and they expressed that on social media:

As the clock ticks, it's clear what the fans want Nylander to do in regards to how much he should sign for.
