Assisting on a Brandon Saad goal late in the third period of the Chicago Blackhawks’ win over the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday, Patrick Kane reached a major statistical milestone in his career. Welcome to the 1,000-point club, Patty!

Welcome to the 1000-point club, Patty Kane! 👏

As you can guess, Kane’s teammates and Blackhawks fans at the United Center were thrilled for his accomplishment. The whole team came over after his assist for a huge group hug, and he got a rousing standing ovation from the crowd.

Kane is just the tenth player of U.S. nationality to reach 1,000 points, and he's the second youngest to reach the milestone by doing so at 31 years and 61 days.

(Points, not goals, in case any viewers were misled by this young fan’s sign!)
