Throughout the summer and the NBA’s return to play, many Raptors players and the team as a whole have been among the most outspoken against racism and police brutality in the league, so there is significant context to their reluctance to play in Louisville.

For any Raptors fans still hopeful to have the team around their home market next season, they’ll be pleased to hear that the team still wants to host games in Toronto, although of course much remains up in the air at the moment.
